Out for lunch last week with the crew from work and for once everyones on the same page,Italian beef. Now comes the hard part..where?
Heading south on Western I suggest Max's, only to be shot down on the basis of repitition.Ok,how about Quick Bite at Foster and Western? Nah..no tables, can't spread the Trib out.Papa George's on California?...too far.
Waiting for the light at Montrose a green circular shaped neon sign beckons from a plate glass window ..."Tina's Best Beef",no one's ever been.End of conversation,we're in.
Settling into my beef I look up at the circular neon sign in the window and notice that someone has placed a Buddah decal directly in it's center...hmmm.And then I see it, mounted high on the wall, and just to the right of the cash register a tiny plastic menu board with the header
Whoda thunk it? an Italian beef joint with a secret Thai menu.
