Timing for pork roast

I'm cooking an 8lb pork roast tomorrow and I'm trying to figure out the timing to have it ready by 6:30pm. The recipe says it should take 6-7 hours. If it needs an hour to come to room temperature and 30 minutes to rest, I would probably need to put it in the oven around 11am. If I'm not going to be home from 9:30-noon, could I just start it before I leave and then reheat it before serving or should I increase the heat to cook it faster?
