I'm saving up for my big TFL splurge next year, but I'm undecided about when to schedule the reservation.
In Spring they have suckling lamb, which sound heavenly to a lamb fiend like myself.
But, in Summer the produce is heavenly.
But, in Fall they have truffles.
Any opinions on the best time of year to take the plunge? Any hounds out there who have made several trips during the different seasons? Is there a "peak" to the truffle season that can be predicted 2 months in advance? Is the peak different for white and black truffles? Is the Australian Wagyu beef seasonal, or will it show up on the menu year round?
