First time NY weekend help

tachbrook82 | Jul 9, 201806:25 AM     7

Hello, off to NYC for the first time this weekend. I am from London and a big foodie and so of course it's high on the agenda for my trip. I have booked the following places for dinner - am I missing anything obvious? Any hidden gems? Any good breakfast or light lunch places to add? Staying NoMad but will spend one day in Greenwich and one day in Brooklyn.

- Minetta Tavern (I wanted an awesome burger and cosy dining room)
- Maialino (recommended by a friend for top Italian)
- Keen's Steakhouse (again, trad America)
- Blue Hill (trendy, interesting, tasting menu - I have been to a Dan Barber pop up in London

Thank you

Note - I have deliberately avoided 'the big guns' of fine dining for this trip (lead time / difficulty of booking and budget reasons!)
