Just wondering if any of you have made your own tempeh before. I think mine is ok, but I've never done this before and am a little startled by what it looks like. The beans have been inoculating for about 18 hours now. I just took a glance at them and they are covered in rather thick white fuzz. I know the culture is supposed to be white and fuzzy, but this seems a tad thick. I can't find a nice closeup picture on the net of what my final product is supposed to look like and want to avoid killing myself. Can anyone help?
