Does Some Tilapia Come From The Ocean?

I went to a local restaurant the other day where their claim to fame is their fish tacos. I asked them what types of fish are available for their fish tacos.

"All our fish tacos are tilapia", I was told. I have read and heard many horror stories about tilapia, and so I left.

I later checked out their web site. In one sentence, they state the following:

"We use the freshest produce, leanest chicken and meats, and seafood straight from the oceans."

The oceans? I thought tilapia was a freshwater fish that was mostly farmed.

Is there such a thing as tilapia that exists in and are caught in any of our oceans for restaurant consumption?

Once again, tilapia is the only fish they serve.

Would you say that there is a high probability that their claim is BS?
