Tiffin - A great South Indian place

had a wonderful indian feast at Tiffin, on University Blvd and New Hampshire (one strip mall down from Udupi Palace) in college park, md. learned that college park is a south indian enclave (there's a sari shop and spice store next door to the restaurant). six of us had: masala dosa(i) (split as an appetizer - huge, served with coconut chutney and a spicy tamarindy soup), saag paneer, chole peshawari(spicy chickpeas), chicken tandoori, lamb biryani, chicken vindaloo and tikka masala, which came out to $16 per person (incl. tip). by far the best indian i've had in this area. they serve complimentary papadums with cilantro chutney, tamarind sauce and pickled onions. looks like they serve buffet lunches on weekdays. check it out!
