Tierra Sana health food restaurant in Rego Park

TierraSana, an all Vegetarian place that's open Shabbat,
got a Kosher certification from Harry Cohen, the same guy
who does Caravan of Dreams, Crumbs, and Tiffin Wallah.

To appeal to the "Starbucks" crowd, they put in couches,
wifi, a fireplace, open air store front, nice table areas, etc.
but it's pretty long space, so you can have privacy on a date,
or lounge in the more open area and meet the neighbors.

The menu is a lot of wraps, salads, soups, smoothies,
all in the $5-$8 range, but you'll probably want 2 or 3 items
to build their varied offerings into an actual meal. Over half
the menu is pure Vegan, and the items with diary or egg
products in them are clearly marked on the menu.

So if you frequent Kosher Veggie places open Saturday,
please give this place a try when you are in the Rego Park,
Forest Hills, Kew Garden Hills area.

100-17 Queens Blvd near 67th Ave.
7l8-83O-O544, open 11am-10pm

(it's in the space that used to house a Empire Chicken spot,
next door to the bargain VHQ Chinese "The Wok" takeout.)
