Low Tide II - Wayne, MI part deux

Sony Bob | Oct 20, 200505:29 PM

A few years ago, Berkleybabe posted about Low Tide on Michigan Ave. in Wayne. Visited it a couple of times and loved it - real cajun stuff. Hadn't been back in almost three years so we crossed our fingers and went today for lunch. It's as good if not better than before. Wonderful, simple cajun fare; po' boys, gumbo, etc.. Excellent deserts. Mind you, this is an honest hard working class neighborhood - booths repaired with duck tape; very small. Strongest drink in the house is sweet tea! Usually only two people working, the waitress/cashier and her mother, the cook. Service can be slow if they are busy but it's worth it. If you're in the area, give it a try. A true chowhound-hole-in-the wall find. Lunches and dinner; I would suggest lunch.
