Tia Pol - Lovely tapas on a spring afternoon

Hadn't been in quite a while and stopped in with the pooch at 2 PM. (There are three stools at the end of the bar that open to the sidewalk, which allows for pets.) The garbanzo fritos are great to get started with a bottle of sidra. They have one 375 ml bottle and can't recall name.

Had:
ensaladita de pulpo - chopped up tender pulpo with white beans in nice reddish romesco sauce. Subtle flavors. Needed salt IMO - which they provided - a nice flaky sal de mar

Croquetas de manchego - good.

Chicken liver mousse on toast with a generous drizzle of Pedro Ximenez reduction - clear winner of the meal. Just great. Not too rich, even with glass of the same dark and rich Pedro Ximenez used for the reduction.

Service was so lovely and friendly - water for dog, came out to meet her (funny little pug puppy - can you blame them?)

One of the nicest al fresco NYC afternoons I've had. With tip came in at $66.
