First, the good. My favorite stand at this market, which is on certain Thursdays, is in the Northeast corner of the plaza. Among other treats, each spring they have 6 or 7 kinds of strawberries. They didn't have those yet, but they did have baby rapini. I'm not sure whether it was truly "baby," but they turned out to be some of the best rapini I've had.
The bad. Several stands were selling tomatoes. None of these had a sign indicating they were from a farm, which of course they couldn't be. If they weren't hothouse tomatoes, which none claimed to be, they can't be local. Why do the people who run this market allow this?
