Thursday early morning breakfast in Howth during layover?

NSL | Oct 31, 201810:48 AM

My boyfriend and I have a 6 hour layover at the Dublin airport on our way to Lyon on a Thursday morning (approx 5:30 am - 11:30 am). It's probably too much to make it all the way into Dublin so I was looking at heading into Howth or Malahide to stretch our legs and get some breakfast. He doesn't eat seafood but otherwise we both will eat anything, any recommendations? Also, any tips or idea on how much time we should give ourselves to get to/from breakfast?
