Thumbs up for chowhound board

My wife and I have visited N.O. at least once and somtimes twice a year for 18 years. We LOVE the place and all it offers. Dining is really our "thing" so I was completely surprised to discover this message board. It is really the best kept secret and kept us from making some poor choices for dining. When you only visit once a year, it is fantastic to find current reviews and comments regarding the restaurants. I just wanted to give a big thumbs-up to all of you who participate in this wonderful post board.

Now, I will give quick run down of our trip.
Ate at Gabrielle's. Great food, good service, a little high considering everything, but would return.
Liborio's Cuban-best mojitos ever. The Cuban sandwiches are fantastic (especially the sweet bread version)
Bayona's-perfect food, perfect service. Garlic soup is heavenly. Sweet breads superb.
Lola's-great Paella, but also good good in general
Mr. B's-I'm sure considered touristy, but had great BBQ shrimp as well as the seasonal salad (yummy garlic dressing).
Fiorella's-bad food and bad service
