stopped in last week
nice new vietnamese market replacing the old 88
pretty much the same set up
good prices equal to or lower than Kam Man
with a moderate but fairly comprehensive selection
nice fresh fish and seafood section, decent produce
whole and cut up jackfruit (mit)
fresh whole bamboo shoots, green dragon fruit, banana blossoms, thai plumbs, thai eggplant (sold loose), vietnamese herbs, chilis
small housewares section
packaged fresh meats (pork belly, hocks and ears, chicken, duck, offals)
small condiment section (mostly viết), no thai curry pastes
good cold drinks section (thai red bull, carabao, tea, guava, grass jelly, and other fruit juices)
bouakham nam sausage
frozen mangosteens and durian
very, very friendly service!
