thre seasons in palo alto, best of a mediocre situation

thejulia | Dec 14, 200406:50 PM     5

my younger, still an undergrad brother, will be coming to visit me this weekend. i wanted to choose a restaurant that wouldn't be too precious, too dingy, and very fun- perferably with acceptable food for his dinner post flight.
the only restaurants i could think of around palo alto or mountain view were three seasons or nola's. in the end, i think three seasons is better so i made a reservation.
I'm looking for 1) Any dishes that are good. The only dish I think is really good there are their sauteed bean sprouts side dish. 2) Any other suggestions for a restaurant that fits all the criteria above.
