My Thoughts and Some Recommendations

Unkle Al | Nov 7, 201710:10 AM     9

It is kind of sad that this board has become so very inactive. It could be coincidental that the inactivity began when the site was re-vamped. But, I am surprised at the level of deterioration. It could also be that everything has a cycle and Chowhound was at its’ end. I still check it out everyday…….

That said I would like to make note of the following suburban restaurants that I think are really good:

Radice in Blue Bell has terrific food and its’ menu is not the typical cookie cutter menu of most of the better Italian restaurants in the suburbs. It is one of my favorite Italian restaurants. For what it is worth the chef and co-owner is a disciple of Marcella Hazan and worked for Joe DiLullo in establishing his first full service restaurant.

For Pizza I really like Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza in Horsham. Their pizzas have a great crust and are very tasty.

Po Le Cucina in Springhouse has very good food. The menu is not that unusual but everything is executed very well.

As I said, I do visit the board frequently and was very surprised that I either missed the following happenings or they were not noted on Chowhound:

I hope that this board can become active again.
