Ok, so we will be arriving in New Orleans tomorrow (Thursday) afternoon and I have a group of 5 having dinner together. Right now I have reservations at both Brigsten's and Coquette. Is one an amazingly better experience than the other? I know folks like both -- I haven't been to either. I feel like Brigsten's will be a classic taste of old New Orleans, but I like the small plates option of Coquette. Is one better suited for a group than another? I'm torn (as you can see) and would love thoughts. Just fyi -- we will certainly have lots of New Orleans fare -- I have Cafe Amelie booked for Fri night (just cause I love their outdoor courtyard and I had a great meal there last time); Jacques Imos on Sat (I know there are better places but I think this works for Sat night since we'll want to keep it REALLY casual and will have an even larger group, 7 people) and then Sunday brunch is Commander's Palace.
Thoughts?????? I need to cancel one of these reservations today so any thoughts/ideas/opinions appreciated.
