Many thanks to Ruth for letting me know about this option for a Cantonese seafood banquet. After comparing to Parc Hong Kong, Great Eastern, Mayflower, and Kan's, Kirin won out based purely on a side by side comparison of banquet menu items and pricing.
However, just to make sure I've done all the research I can, has anyone been recently? There was a great report back in 2002 for Limsterfest (great post by Chibi linked below). I know no restaurant chosen for Limsterfest could be short of excellent, but a lot can happen to a restaurant in three years.
I would greatly appreciate any info, even if you've gone in the recent past for lunch or a la carte dinner. I just want to make sure a good cook's still in the kitchen. TIA
