Thompson Italian in Falls Church City - Report

Steve | Jan 29, 202002:53 AM     1

The folks running Thompson Italian have hit a nerve, because the place was packed solid on a weeknight. We were lucky to walk in, but they managed to free up a table for us as long as we didn't stay too long.

This was a forgettable meal. It's been a few weeks now, and I forgot that I ate here and I forgot what I ordered. I peeked at the online menu to jog my memory. We ordered the gnocchi and the angel hair pasta with shrimp scampi. I instantly forgot about both dishes as I was eating them. One of those experiences where you wish you had just stayed home, boiled spaghetti and opened a can of Trader Joe's marinara. Very pleasant space, nice people, and lots of families.
