Thirsty Fox Pub in Toronto

Anyone try this place out yet?
I believe its relatively new.

Checked it out last night and really had to wonder if they know what they're doing.

FOOD
-half priced wings = really small wings with not much meat served on large plates which just makes them look even smaller. My friend and I both ordered a pound of wings each...I got 8 and he got 11, all the same size.

ATMOSPHERE
-it's a large room that IMO needs more art or something on the walls. I did really like the huge chalkboards advertising the beers on tap and specials.

MUSIC
-this is often a deal breaker for me. For the first part of the evening, instead of any music being played we were hearing the audio from the Leafs game on the big screen. Not bad but when it came to interviews with the players and commercials....not something you want to listen to in a pub.
After the game they changed the sound to a radio station so we were actually listening to DJs talking before a U2 trio of songs. The the sound system started cutting out every few seconds...it was painful.
My thoughts are basically that the sound system should never have talking on it filling the bar.

OVERALL
-hard to imagine revisiting this place. There were just way too many things that showed they don't really know what they're doing. Hopefully they can get their act together cause this area needs a good pub.
But there's no reason to go to a substandard one when The Twisted Kilt is not too far off....
