I used to think that most pizza in our favorite haunts was pretty good. Michaelangelos in Bustleton-Somerton for example.
No more. Had Pizza in Naples last week that was simply to die for. Then, we had the good fortune to have Pizza in Rome, off the Piazza Navonna that was even better. Crisp thin crust that stayed crisp to the last bite. Not an excess of topping, but excellent flavor.
Is there anywhere in the PHilly area where one can get superb thin-crust pizza? Will travel far to get same. I know that Taconnelli's pizza is supposed to be excellent, but is it thin-crust?
