Over Thickened Orange Curd

HELP! I made orange curd and it didn't thicken near enough, so I used some arrowroot powder (a little to much) and now its to thick for the orange bars I would like to make. Should I add more orange juice to help thin is out, or is it a lost cause and should perhaps attempt to turn them into chocolate covered candies?
