I bought the Williams-Sonoma Thermo Clad 2 Quart Saucepan and the first thing I noticed about the pot was the weight before noticing how much thicker it is in comparison to my Thermo Clad 8 inch skillet. It seems that W-S no longer makes the 8 inch skillet without a nonstick coating anymore so I'm curious if the thickness is a new development that they didn't mention or if it's just for the smaller saucepans as a balance thing.
I don't live near a Williams-Sonoma store so I can't check on the other pieces in person and see if all pieces are thicker or just the saucepans. Hopefully the photos will post onto Chowhound.
