Thanksgiving WIN - Mr. and Mrs. Miscellaneous

Hi All --

Moved to write about the dessert we picked up for last night's Thanksgiving dinner. A Pumpkin ice cream pie from Mr. and Mrs. Miscellaneous.

YUM! Great creamy ice cream that at first had us wondering (in a good way) -- is this pumpkin ice cream? The flavor is subtle and very interesting the way the flavors unfold. Spice, the fullness of the pumpkin and the cream -- and I cannot give enough credit to the fantastic ginger crumb crust that was underlying the whole pie.

Absolutely FANTASTIC. I highly recommend the holiday pies for those who don't want the hassle of preparing a dessert -- they also had a choice of a cheesecake (not sure if it was ice cream or not) but was told that it was a ginger-vanilla cheesecake, which makes my toes curl in anticipation for Christmas. :-P
