I will be visiting an (American) friend over Thanksgiving in Rio. While I am very excited about going to Brazil for the first time, I am sad that I will miss T'giving dinner at home.
To that end, I have become obsessed w/making a pumpkin pie while there. I have already bought a can of Libby's pumpkin puree that I will bring with me. My friend has assured me that I can get all the accompanying ingredients for the filling, but I am concerned w/whether I'll be able to find a pie plate (metal or glass) down there. Should I be crazy and bring my own?
Also, are there any metric recipes floating around out there for crust and filling that anyone could direct me to? Muito obrigada!
