I know, I know. It's a bit early to be talking Thanksgiving...but I've gotten a request for advice from someone who knows I can usually come up with a suggestion for any occasion/set of requirements, and I find myself flummoxed by this one:
Thanksgiving lunch/dinner for a family mostly coming in from out of town.
She wants to eat in at a good Chinese restaurant "Chinese banquet"-style (so a very good meal, higher end, and not just dim sum).
Price very likely no object.
Eaters aren't necessarily 100% adventurous, but won't be scared off by authenticity rather than Americanized Chinese.
Chinatown or any other Manhattan neighborhood fine.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, hounds!
