New Thai restaurant in Santa Rosa

Mick Ruthven | May 23, 200510:58 AM     2

As I wrote is an earlier thread (http://chowhound.com/california/board...), I've really enjoyed Lotus Thai Restaurant on the square in Healdsburg, and the owner recently opened Bangkok Thai Cuisine in Santa Rosa (2770 Cleveland Avenue). I stopped by there for lunch Saturday and found the food just as fine as at Lotus Thai. The owner of both restrurants, Vilaiwan “Jackie” Bentall, is doing the cooking at the new place so she's sure it gets started right. From the outside, it's a roadhouse-looking place but inside it's spacious and inviting and looks distinctly Thai while maintaining an attractive modern look.
