Thai Plate

notlocal | May 31, 2005 02:33 PM

I visit TO from Edmonton periodically and enjoy Thai food. Last year, staying near the Bathurst/ Wilson area, I discovered Thai Plate (ate their almost daily during my visit) and returned again during a recent visit. The buffet lunch provides excellent value at $8.95/person. This includes an excellent variety of dishes including soup, meat and vegetable dishes, rice and dessert. They create very flavorful, high quality traditional Thai dishes- just the right amount of spice. Their standard dishes such as pad thai, coconut rice and hot and sour soup are excellent. To end the meal, their is always fruit available.
The ambiance is like a traditional Thai restaurant, and the staff are very authentic and friendly.
I would recommend this restaurant to all who enjoy excellent Thai foods at a reasonable price.
