Thai Nakorn- another take

This place is a winner indeed and the price is very reasonable with most things below $10

Ordered the catfish salad that several hounds recommended. It is quite good and unusual. It is fried to crisp in the form of angel hair (tangled). The dressing consist of sweet and sour but clear dressing with bits of peanuts sprinkled. Very good.

Appetizer:corn fritter. Kernels of corn embedded in fried batter. A small container of vinegar, cucumber and onions for sauce. I would have opted for fish cake but this is different and very good.

Beef stew soup (not in the menu): chunks of beef and tendons in a broth flavored with (can't remember the nuances) spices. But the beef and tendon were a bit chewy - not my favorite dish.

Bean threads (transparent thin noodle-like) with shrimps and chicken. Nice flavor and simple dish.

Chicken with basil leaves: ground chicken sauteed with basil and spices. Decent tasting.

Thai iced coffee is served in a tall glass. Somewhat smooth without any coarse coffee - not as smooth as frappucino. Milk is poured on top, you need to stir it good.

It is located in San Bruno near SFO
