Thai Gourmet in Port Jefferson Station--still any good?

KB | Sep 25, 2005 10:28 PM

Hi all,

I used to enjoy Thai Gourmet on route 347 back in high school, but I haven't eaten there in at least five years. Since then, I've had a bout of vegetarianism (heaven forbid!), gotten over it, experienced Sripraphai, and lived in Philly where there ain't a whole lot of Thai food. I don't mind slightly-"gringo" Thai (i.e. no "weird" dishes on the menu--although I'd eat 'em, I don't expect TG to have 'em) as long as they'll make it spicy, but in any case I'm really having a craving!

Anyone have any input on the place these days? Is it still good? Was it ever good? I'm inclined to guess that for Suffolk strip-mall Thai, it really was fresh and decent.

Any feedback is much appreciated.
