Went to Little Thai Cafe on Avenue A (between 6/7 st)for a little bite.
To start we had the standard thai soups: tom yum guy (coconut chicken) and spicy shrimp soup. the shrimp was better than the tom yum , which wasn't very good. Had some Thai steamed dumplings which were tasty. Shared an entree. Pork Larb. Its not on the menu and when I asked for it the chef got excited. and the waitress as if I liked it hot (ped, ped in Thai, no?) It was excellent. Could eat this all night long. The chef said that in Thailand they sometimes make with fresh fish and she felt that was the best. Anyways if your into Thai food and willing to take a shot, I would sggest this place. Seems like the chef there would be happy to make some thing HOT and off the menu if she knows it.
