Thai Aree on vacation - call prior to making a trip

Al | Aug 11, 200301:08 PM

We tried to go to Thai Aree with some friends on Friday evening, but there was a vacation sign up. I forgot when the return date was (sometime this month). Can't wait to get there while their garden is still producing terrific herbs and peppers.

Since Thai Aree was closed, we had another terrific meal (one bite salad, 'exploded' catfish salad, duck larb, grilled beef salad, penang curry, duck curry, & pad kee mow) at Spoon, which was encouraging since on our last visit we encountered our first off night (nothing was really bad, just not quite as good as usual). By the way, we got to Spoon Thai at 8pm last Friday and there were quite a few open tables.
