Texas BBQ

Sam Patton | Feb 7, 2006 12:44 PM

My grandmother (93 years old) died a few days into January 2006. I live in Georgia now so we had to make the long drive on I-10 from Mobile, AL to San Antonio. I had decided after our trip in August the next time I was on I-10 I was stopping at City Market in Luling. We stopped there (my wife, 2 daughters, and my mom & dad were with me) and ate lunch. My wife and I got brisket and mom & dad got brisket and ribs. It is definitely one of the best places I have been to. I will be back but first I have to try Kreuz Market and Chisolm Trail in Lockhart (I've already tried Blacks and Smittys.) My mom was very impressed and talked about it the whole trip.
