We hadn't been to Bar Ferdinand for a while, and early on Sunday evening (after a great movie) seemed like a good idea.
We forgot how great it is!
We have had tapas several places, including the Garces restaurants, but we decided this is our favorite tapas venue.
One of the specials was an incredible roasted mushroom soup with truffle coulis - worth the trip!
Another favorite was the chicken livers on a skewer accompanied by carmelized onions; they managed to get the outside of the livers crispy and keep the middles juicy and delectable.
We always have to have the fried Mantego cheese skewers with frozen apple foam.
We had three other tapas and then shared an excellent rice pudding with dried cherries and slivered almonds.
My husband enjoyed his beer, one of many choices, and I savored my sangria.
We won't wait long to return.
