terrific restaurant--Caravan Grill

I enjoyed a terrific dinner the other night at the Caravan Grill in Adams Morgan/Dupont Circle at 1825 18th St. The food at their Persian dinner buffet was remarkably fresh and delicious, and at $11.25--a great deal.

The owner is very warm and friendly--he came over to us when we sat down and as we left to shake our hands and thank us for coming to his restaurant. He treats you like an honored guest, and obviously takes a lot of pride in the preparation of his food.

I rarely recommend restaurants in DC, especially Adams Morgan, where I find overpriced, so-so food to be the norm. Caravan Grill is an exception to remember. I will definitely be back!-S
