Terra Luna - N. Truro

Just to check in on the regularly recommended Terra Luna in N. Truro based on a visit for dinner last weekend - still recommended, though they could do some things better. Call for a reservation on busy nights.

Terra Luna
104 Shore Rd., N. Truro
Open through Columbus Day weekend (October).

Nice room, menu decently priced. Markup on the wine list was also reasonable.

The roasted cod with mushrooms entree was excellent. Salads were tasty. Save room for dessert.

Things they really ought to do better: Blistering amount of garlic in the soup - tasty, but that should be in the description and not a surprise. Rosemary grilled shrimp were nicely grilled, but left us wondering where the rosemary was. Scallops in the scallop entree were overcooked. And they really need to hand out a big happy pill or something to the staff - they do the job fairly well, but not with a smile.
