Miss Tenacity shared a recipe for bran muffins on 1/23/06. They taste great - a winner in the bran muffin olympics. They are not a regular sugary muffin with some bran thrown in. The dry ingredients are serious: whole wheat flour, raw wheat germ, wheat bran, and oat bran. Yet, the muffins are both healthy and delicious.
I added the optional raisins and used cinnamon, instead of ginger. Miss Tenancity, have you made these muffins with just the ginger? What about mixing half ginger and half cinammon?
I also used low fat milk as the liquid, rather than yogurt.
