Went to dim sum with some of my Chinese language classmates and or Chinese teacher. Since Cerritos was central for most of us I suggested Ten Ten after reading elmomonster's review.
We consisted of native Chinese from Shanghai, Hong Kong, Hunan, an ABC and me, a gweilo.
We agreed that the food at Ten Ten was quite acceptable but there was a curious lack of variety. Not sure if it was because we were late having arrived at 12:30 but not being seated till 1:00, or whether the restaurant is too small to support it.
We had the chicken feet (two orders) various jiaotzi and baotzi and of course gailan. The one thing I ate that stood out was a crispy fried thing with taro on the inside. Really good.
It was certainly a good value as the five of us ate lightly for $32 including tax but not tip.
So I guess I'd like to try it again earlier in the day to see if they are more item.
