ten tables

Had a wonderful meal at Ten Tables in JP last night. Their regular prices are very reasonable (entrees are in the high teens), but on wednesdays, they have a special deal where you can choose any app, entree and dessert for $25. That's a deal! The food was excellent. The highlights were charcuterie plate (house made country pate, pork rillette, salami, and some other smoked meat), celery root soup, and roasted trout. Cassoulet (sp?) was just ok. Creme brule for dessert was very good. The wine list has some great values. We got an excellent German reisling for $21, and a california Pinot Noir (I think it was about $30). We'll definitely be back.

Be warned -- reservations are hard to snatch even on a weeknight.
