Ten Stone report

So I went to Ten Stone on Tuesday before going to see X-men.
The place is nicely decorated, with an extra room to the right (pool table, darts, fireplace, tables) and a small room behind the bar. The walls are a golden poppy yellow which, combined with candlelight as the sun went down, glowed beautifully. There are certain medieval touches here and there and a neat Thai-like doorway.
They have excellent beers. I counted 24 microbrews or imports on tap. I had my favorite, Leffe blonde, and the other choices were right up there (Golden Monkey et al.) The only ickyness I could see beer-wise was Stella. Just not good, imho. I don't see why people bother.
Anyway, we got some grub.
One companion got the quiche du jour, which was portobella and broccoli. It came with a field greens salad. No complaints
Another companion got the California salad, which was huge. It had field greens, sprouts, sundried tomatoes (too many, we all thought), a chunky mango dressing w/ cilantro and some other hot spice, and it was supposed to have avocado but didn't.
The last companion got that same salad but with chicken (still no avocado, still too many tomatoes, dressing too hot).
I got a veggie wrap with assorted veggies and a sundried tomato spread which seemed to consist of 1. sundried tomatoes and 2. sugar. It was so sweet I couldn't eat it. My companion who will eat anything ate it. I got fries, which were good.
In sum, I'd go back to drink for sure, but not really to eat.
