What can I do with a ten pound bag of frozen potato chunks that I inherited from a relocating neighbor?
The potatoes are cubed and soft, but not mushy when thawed. (I’ve already thawed one bag and stored the unused portion in the fridge.) I think they were cooked prior to freezing, but am not sure.
I’ve made fried potatoes and they didn’t turn out too bad. The potatoes held their shape but didn’t really crisp up like fresh ones would.
Last night I mashed some and made potato cakes which were pretty good.
Anyone have any other ideas?
