just had a light lunch
on st. marks/1st ave.
it is 3 month old korean restaurant.
the lunch special
is very reasonable
for korean food.
it did come with banchan (4 items)
and the shredded pickled daikon
-bulgogi duk boki- order it with a side of red chili pepper paste (ko-choo-jang)
-bibim guksoo- too much lettuce, needs to be eaten with kimchee
-kim noodle soup- ramen noodles, good spicy broth, but not meant for summer lunch.
the meal ended with a delectable
cinnamon-ginger-honey iced tea (very very good).
of course i asked for more kimchee.
all this for under $20.
