Day 2 of my February trip to Sacramento started off with morning coffee at Temple Coffee Roasters. I went to the Midtown location because the beans are roasted at this site.
Too chilly to sit outside but on a sunnier day, I'd be drawn to the sidewalk seating.
The friendly and knowledgeable staffer helped me choose the right roast for my first taste of Temple. No hipster attitude here.
I ordered a cappuccino made with Ethiopia Natural Boke Grade 1 espresso beans.
The fruity notes and seamless elegance of this cup was unlike anything I've tasted. Mind-blowingly complex.
This brewed Nicaraguan coffee was available for complimentary tasting.
Before heading out, I took a quick peek at the vintage coffee roaster.
Some time I'd like to take in the weekly public tasting.
