It’s my boys 13th birthday a few days into our Manhattan trip. We were thinking Big Daddies Union Sq area for breakfast (went there many years ago without the kids). It was ok food, retro and kitsch, but they have chicken and waffles which my kid loves! We wondered if there’s anywhere else we could consider? They have sensory needs and a fun, stimulating looking place is good. I wasn’t sure if Serendipity 3 was a bit too feminine and cutesy (they like skateboarding and tech)!? However they don’t like Ellen’s stardust diner (we’re doing that for my musical theatre loving daughter another day). We have Benihana’s booked for dinner than night, at their request. So didn’t want to blow the budget on breakfast!
