teddy's (w'burg) veggie platter - YUM

not often that I rave about such a platter and actually not often that I'm eating entire meals composed of vegetables, but in the interest of longevity, that's what it's been lately. and teddy's, on the corner of berry and north 8th has an excellent, ample, generous choice for veg's, or those who wish to eat like one. we ordered takeout for the bar diagonal (brooklyn ale house) but, anyway, $9.95 got me very generous servings of: grilled leek (a whole big honking one), portabello mushroom caps, mashed sweet potato, broccoli, tomato, red onion, wilted romaine, faro with mushroom (quinoa-like). enough to serve 1 hungry vegetarian for sure, the food was good, flavors fresh and really, I couldn't be happier, especially as I watched my table-mates scarf down all manner of delicious looking fries, sandwiches and other cholesterol-laden goodies. I was perfectly happy w/ my veg. yum.
