Went to Teatro Goldoni on K street on the 24th for an aniversary dinner and we had a pretty darned good meal. We split a big appetizer of fried shrimp, calamari, oysters and scallops served with tartar sauce and marinara sauce. My wife had grilled salmon with polento and asparagus, and I had lobster fra diavalo. We both thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The fried stuff wasn't chewy even though there was a variety of sea creatures in the mix. Lobster was tasty too. We polished it off with a tiramsu that had a nice kick to it.
The decor is kind of funky/mod, but overall we thought it was a nice place with good attentive service. Expensive, but at least they don't skimp on the portions.
