Teas and Java

Frank Terranova | Dec 9, 2012 07:45 AM

Driving by Garden City and heard some hype on this Teas and Java. It was a nice looking place a bit cold and dense not too warm like Brewed Awakenings. But for a coffee its ok maybe a leg up on D/D But the display case had pastry not too many selections most were cookies which were drooping off the plate and not too appetizing. The cupcakes had frosting on them which was dried up and had those little hair line cracks on them. the Ice Cream was completely freezer burned on top which I have Never seen on a display case. There were 3 dried up sandwich plates mixed with the pastry which should not be done because the flavors of the meats would get into the pastry which would have made them a little more appetizing looking anyway.

The jewerly place was packed with their items which are very nice but only 6 people having coffee and this was on a Saturday afternoon at 1:30 when GC was a complete zoo and if this is the way they think at least for this place will exist better go back to the drawing board.
