Tea or Alternative in Burbank

Ok so here's the deal folks, I need some help. One of my good friends and I were trying to get together this weekend to go to tea at Sweet Chari-Tea in Burbank, but I was surprised to drive by and see it's closed! We both live in Burbank (I'm around the corner from Sweet-Chari-Tea, she's in the media district). We want something close by (up to 20 minute drive) that's comfortable and different and where we can sit for a couple of hours and relax. It doesn't have to be tea at all just something fun, different and relaxing. We have both lived in the Burbank area for 7+ years and I'm hoping to find something neither one of us has done before (or maybe something new). Aside from Sweet Chari-Tea we used to be big fans of Patrick's cafe but he changed it to a sushi bar and we're looking for something a little more mellow (I'm into sushi zen but she's not that adventurous). I should probably also mention that we're part of a small group that goes and tries out different tea houses in our areas. Our "regular" visits are The Guilded Rose in Northridge or The Tutor House in SM. Any help would be appreciated!
