Never heard of Taystee until they won the Burger Brawl. It was lunch time. Plan-A was abandoned due to precip. I decided to visit their only location - the BP station across from the Ford-Wyoming Drive-In Theater.

At 12:30PM on a rainy Saturday, Taystee was a ghost town. I received a friendly greeting upon my arrival and opt'd for the Taystee Original - it was excellent!

Just enough grease to have great flavor, without becoming a soggy mess. The veggies were fresh & crisp. The slice of cheese was thoroughly melted into all the nooks and crannies of the hand-formed, halal beef patty The patty itself is not thin/smashed, nor is it plump. It's in that thick-enough middle ground. I prefer a bit more sear, but now I'm just picking nits.

It took 5-10 minutes to prepare my burger and it was served hot from the flat top.

Will I return? Yes!
WiFi? No.

Next time, I will saunter over to the coolers in the gas station side of the bldg and buy a beer from the cooler to enjoy with my burger.

What wrong with Taystee Burger? Too far from home!

Wish list: The garlic corn relish that FUB used.
