Am looking for a wedding cake that will actually be served for dessert and thus must truly be tasty and not just a showpiece. That said, I would also like it to look nice (that's secondary though).
My fiance and I are not big fans of airy/whipped-creamy desserts (for example, unlike many people, we're not big fans of Dufflet's). Our favourite type of cake is a dense, moist, fudgy chocolate cake. We're thinking of having both chocolate and lemon (or something similar) options so that guests have a choice.
Based on these comments, does anyone have any suggestions?
More specifically, has anyone eaten/seen wedding cakes made by Dessert Trends, She Takes the Cake, and/or the Wedding Cake Shoppe?
